Revival in the Land Christian Center
Pastor Sherman Henderson:
Began in the church at a young age and was baptised by the late
Pastor John B. Anderson. He served as youth leader, Usher and
Sunday School teacher At Christ Temple M.B. Church #5 1137 w.
63rd. In August of 1990 he heeded the calling on his life and was
licenced to preach. He served as interim Pastor of Christ Temple # 5
in 1994. In July 1996 he and Gwen founded Revival in the Land M. B.
Church. He has been faithfully serving since that time.
Gwen Henderson - Co Pastor
Has been a part of the ministry since it's creation. Her primary role is
to support the pastor and coordinate church activities. After
graduating church leadership classes she was elevated to Co-Pastor
beside her Husband.
Rev. Charles E. Clay III - Pastor's Assistant
serves as head of the education & outreach. Rev. Clay was ordained
in January of 2005 after graduating church leadership classes. He
came to the ministry as a licenced minister and has shown great
dedication to the ministry and serves in a wide range roles. Rev. Clay
brings a wealth of Christian experience to the ministry. His passion
and steadfastness makes him the anchor of the ministry staff.
Minister Curry Williams - Youth Minister
Has been with the ministry since it's infancy. He licenced to preach in
late 2004 and soon after accepted the post of youth minister. He
brings the hip-hop flavor to the staff. His ability to connect with young
people use of humour as a teaching method is a valuable asset to
the ministry.
Missionary Harriet Shaw
Serves as head of missionary society and the women's ministry. She
is an excellent speaker, who has an uncanny ability to draw and
minister to people in a loving way. She is well equipped to defend
and expound on sound biblical doctrine. Graduated from church
leadership classes in January 2005.
Sister Terresa Williams
Serves as communications specialist. She handles all church
communications, weekly bulletins, quarterly newsletter. Graduated
from church leadership classes in January 2005.
Mother Rosemary Perkins
Heads the Mother board and assists
Co-Pastor Gwen with coordinating church
activities and functions. She serves as the
secretary to both Pastor and Co-Pastor.
Missionary Chante' Henderson
Serves as technical communications specialist. Chante' heads
weekly audio/ video production and play back. She keeps the Spirit
moving in the church. She also is on the praise team and is an
assistant to minister Williams in the youth ministry.

Missionary LaTonia Green
Serves as Pastor's nurse helps ministry and church events
coordinator. She can be counted on to lend a hand to any axillary of
the church. Missionary Green is developing into a strong soul-
winner, she has brought many to the Lord and into the ministry.
Deacon Howard Henderson
Serves as Chairman of the Deacon Board. Deacon Henderson
can be counted on to open up service, host events as MC and
develop the other Deacons on his staff. Deacon Henderson is a
seasoned deacon with years of service under his belt. He is one
of the 2 Ordained Deacons n the ministry.
Sister Jashquee Moore
Serves as Church Clerk and events coordinator. Sister
Moore is a spirit-filled laborer for the Lord. She creates
and maintains church data bases. She can be counted
on to help with any project around the ministry.
Missionary Tywanda Cochran
Serves as Superintendent of the Sunday School, vice chair of
the women's ministry and Worship leader. She has a passion
for ministry in the area of children, especially young women.
Founded a group for girls called "GLOW" God's Light on
Women. Serves various other roles as needed in the ministry.
